Ms. Genevieve S. Croft

Ms. Genevieve S. Croft

Ms. Croft is Theatre Teacher at Kennedale Junior High School. She has worked in various professional and community theatres across the Dallas Fort Worth area as an actor, director, and designer. She is a graduate of The University of North Texas, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts and a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a Master of Liberal Studies in Theatre Arts.

Ms. Croft has additional experience worked in the entertainment industry, specifically, Radio, having worked at KNTU-FM (88.1 The One) at UNT as a Drive-Time DJ, and as a news anchor. She has additional experience working with Entercom Radio-Dallas (formerly CBS RADIO) at 98.7 KLUV in the Promotions and Programming Departments.

Ms. Croft truly believes in the difference that the performing arts make in the lives of students. She currently serves as an Associate Theatre Critic for John Garcia's, The Column, a nationally syndicated publication. Ms. Croft teaches Theatre Arts I and Advanced Theatre at KJHS, and assists the Kennedale High School Theatre Arts Department with productions.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and son Paul-who she named for Paul McCartney. Paul is starting at James A. Arthur this year.

Ms. Croft collects anything related to the Beatles and Paul McCartney, enjoys traveling, cooking, and loves listening to music.
