Hello and thank you for welcoming me into the Kennedale community.  This is my first year teaching and coaching in KISD, and I am excited to get started.

I have been teaching for over 10 years now, but I entered education as a professional with extensive experience in the media business. I am a proud father of two, a boy and a girl.  My wife is a wonderful woman from a great family. She was adopted when she was a little girl from Colombia.  She works in the home health care business and is very supportive of the kids and families we serve as part of being in education. 

I am a person who has overcome one of those difficult starts in life, spending time in foster care, and many other difficult circumstances that have since informed my teaching practice.  I am a sincere person and I am in education to serve. 

I graduated from UT Arlington, and I have a Master's degree in education from Concordia Lutheran Texas. I am passionate about teaching kids to communicate and helping them to earn the joy of self-directed learning.  I have taught all levels of English and Professional communications in addition to experience as a head volleyball coach, and assistant soccer coach.
