Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Erin Strange
For the past 5 years, I have taught English IV and ESL at KHS, as well as going into my 3rd year teaching Honors English I. I graduated from Dallas Baptist University where I played tennis and earned a BA degree in Secondary English Education. I have taught all grade levels between 8th-12th grade with 9 years experience in middle school and 8 years experience in high school. This will be my 18th year of teaching and 6th year at Kennedale High School. I have an amazing husband who works in the Personalized Learning Department as a Technology Blended Learning Coordinator in Dallas ISD, as well as two amazingly talented and adorable children, Emmy (7th grade - Kennedale JH) and Aiden (4th grade - R.F. Patterson). My favorite hobbies, in the limited free time I possess, are reading and taking naps, and leaving work at work in order to maintain my patience and sanity to ultimately be a more understanding and positive educator, as well as be a better mother and wife to my family. My faith is the most important element in my life and my strongest asset in ensuring that I balance grace and mercy with discipline and high expectations in my classroom in order to ensure success for all of my students. I am excited to see where this crazy, virtual year takes us as Wildcats for the 2020-21 school year!
