Hello! My name is Danny Wilcox. I am beginning my 26th year in the education profession, and 11th year in Kennedale ISD. I am married to my beautiful wife Kerry, and we have a daughter Megan who will be a Senior this year. We love to travel and experience new adventures in life. We can often be found at area lakes or at the beach in Galveston in the spring and summer, and in the woods in the fall as hunting season rolls around.  I teach Aquatic Science, Environmental Science, Archery, and Accelerated Learning Biology here at KHS. We have competition archery and bass fishing teams here at KHS that I help run as well.  It is an honor and a privilege to work with your kids in the Kennedale community and is a job I do not take lightly. We will do our best to ensure your child's experience while attending KHS is filled with great memories and opportunities. KHS Outdoor Opportunities and Costs

  I would like to take a quick minute to inform you about the opportunities available in KISD for your child in our Outdoor Education Program. We would love to have you join our Kennedale Outdoor Education Booster Club! We encourage all parents/families who have children participating in our Outdoor Ed activities to join!  Cost of joining the KOE Booster Club is only $35/family!  We will also be a 501c3 organization, meaning you will receive tax exemptions for any donations/sponsorships!  Help your taxes while you help our kids and programs please! We offer the following areas for participation at KHS.  

1.) Archery and Bass Fishing Teams. If you child is interested in either of these, please e-mail me at wilcoxd@kisdtx.net. We have had kids win scholarship money in the THSBA fishing tournaments, and had our first archery scholarship winner this past year as well!  We look forward to continuing to build off these successes with a large group returning from both teams! There are no fees associated with the archery team. There are several fees and stipulations involved with the bass team. Please attend the bass team meeting the second week of school if interested in participating in the bass team.
