Howdy Wildcats!

My name is Monica LaPlant and this will be my 14th year at Kennedale ISD!  I can't believe how fast time has gone by - learning new things each and every day.  I teach Essential Academics - ELA, Math, Science and History for 7th and 8th Grade.  I also serve as the Special Education Department Head. The Special Education population is my passion - each child has something special to give, and I love learning from them!  

I graduated from Texas A&M University and a Fighting Aggie Class of 2003!  WHOOP!  I am a wife and mother to our 7 year old precious, #hotmessexpress son, Liam.  When we are not on the baseball field, you can find us on the lake!  Where we love to be together with family and friends.
