About Dr. Devlin
Dr. Stephanie Devlin is the Director of Counseling Services, where she has been a member of our educational community for over 17 years, with the last five years in her current leadership role. Dr. Devlin's commitment to our district is evident in her oversight of Counseling Services, College Career & Military Readiness, and Career & Technical Education initiatives. Dr. Devlin is deeply committed to integrating Social Emotional Learning and providing responsive services that support the holistic development of our students, demonstrating a passion for guiding them towards realizing their potential and thriving in their chosen paths of life and career.
Beginning her career in clinical counseling, Dr. Devlin supported mental health and well-being in non-profit organizations before transitioning to education. Her journey into public education encompassed a diverse array of positions, including substitute teacher, administrative assistant, and intervention and crisis counselor. Each of these positions served to enrich her perspective and approach to supporting our students and staff.
Dr. Devlin brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her role and also a genuine care for the well-being and future of every student. Her dedication to fostering environments where students can grow academically, emotionally, and socially reflects the core values of Kennedale ISD: nurturing well-rounded individuals prepared for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
