Ms. Linda Medrano

While this is my first year teaching in Kennedale ISD, it is my 20th in the education industry and my 14th as an educator. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Advanced Technological Education from Bowling Green State University in Ohio and recently, Dec. 2021, received my Master of Science in Learning Technologies with a concentration in Instructional Systems Design from the University of North Texas. During my coursework with UNT, I had the opportunity to collaborate with professors and colleagues on a book project with the Texas Center for Educational Technology. We are currently reviewing the final content and it will be sent to the publisher soon. My accolades will include being a co-author on the Texas Teachers Needs Assessment chapter. It is one of my proudest accomplishments.

During my tenure as an educator, I have taught Graphic Design and Illustration, Animation, Media Technology, Web Design, and Entrepreneurship courses. My favorites are Graphic Design and Animation because I love creativity. I am a lifelong learner and hold the belief there is always something new to learn, whether it be a hobby, for work, or just to have knowledge.

In my spare time, I like to watch high school and college sports, mainly football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, and softball. I have a love of animals as well and have two adorable little girls. I also love spending time with my friends and family and never pass up an opportunity to dance.
