American Rescue Plan Act of 2021
Kennedale Independent School District | Public Notice for Applying for the ESSER III Federal Grant Funding
Kennedale Independent School District is making public notice for applying for the American Rescue Plan, ESSER III Federal Grant for funding. This application would provide funding to the district in two major categories. One area would address the student learning loss due to COVID-19 and the second area would address the safe re-opening of the public school district.
The application also deals with other areas related to COVID-19 issues such as retaining employees, operational needs of the school district due to COVID-19 issues, and teacher support.
General Specifics on the grant are as follows:
- Time Frame for the grant: Pre-award costs can be recoded from March 13, 2020 and allowed to spend
funds until September 30, 2023. With the Tidings Act if districts needed to carryover unused funds they
would be allowed to continue spending to September 30, 2024. - Districts would be required to follow all federal, state and local regulations and requirements for federal
grant administration and fiscal spending of funds. - District entitlement for the grant for the 3-year period: $2,919,729.

El Distrito Escolar Independiente de Kennedale está hacienda un aviso público para solicitar fondos para el Plan de Rescate Estadounidense, la Beca Federal ESSER III. Esta solicitud proporcionaría fondos al distrito en dos categorías principals. lĩnh vực sẽ giải quyết tình trạng mất học tập của học sinh do COVID-19 và lĩnh vực thứ hai sẽ đề cập
đến việc tái mở cửa trường học an toàn của khu học chánh.
Ứng dụng này cũng giải quyết các lĩnh vực khác liên quan đến các vấn đề COVID-19 như giữ các nhân
viên, nhu cầu hoạt động của khu học chánh do các vấn đề COVID-19 và hỗ trợ giáo viên.
Cụ thể về khoản trợ cấp như sau:
- Khung thời gian cho khoản tài trợ: Các chi phí trước khi trao thưởng có thể được ghi lại từ ngày 13 tháng
3 năm 2020 và được phép sử dụng quỹ cho đến ngày 30 tháng 9 năm 2023. Với Đạo luật Tidings, nếu các
quận cần chuyển số tiền chưa sử dụng, họ sẽ được phép tiếp tục chi tiêu đến ngày 30 tháng 9 năm 2024. - Các quận sẽ được yêu cầu tuân theo tất cả các quy định và yêu cầu của liên bang, tiểu bang và địa
phương đối với việc quản lý tài trợ liên bang và chi tiêu tài chính của quỹ. - Quyền lợi của học khu đối với khoản trợ cấp trong thời gian 3 năm: $ 2,919,729.00
