Parent Involvement Committee
Kennedale ISD values the collaboration between home, community, and school and we strongly believe the involvement of families is essential for developing high achieving students. KISD is committed to fostering and promoting parental involvement as required in Title I Part A.
To accomplish this goal, our district is seeking members to be a part of the district’s Parent Involvement Committee. The Parent Involvement Committee is used to develop and maintain the district’s Parent and Family Engagement Policy. The committee will consist entirely of parents from multiple campuses. There will be one meeting per year with a 2-year commitment. The first meeting will take place virtually at the end of April.
Primary tasks of the committee:
- Create/modify/approve the Parent and Family Engagement Policy.
- Review general expectations of the Parent and Family Engagement Policy.
- Discuss implementation of the Parent and Family Engagement Policy components.
If you are interested in serving on this committee, for the 2020-2021 school year, please email me at email@example.com.
