Hello Delaney Wildcats,

My name is Melissa Gerik and I have been at Delaney Elementary for 18 years. I have taught grades 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade at Delaney Elementary. I am so excited to teach 3rd grade ELAR and SS with my partner teacher, Mrs. Jones who teaches Math and Science. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with my Bachelor's of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with Early Childhood Education and have my master's degree in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University. I have been married to my husband for 9 years and we have two beautiful children, McKinley (2nd grade) and Mason (K) who attend Delaney Elementary. I am excited about this school year and getting to work with all my students this year.
