What is a “house huddle?"
Each six weeks the houses gather for a house huddle. Each house will meet with their house members to discuss the eight core character traits of the district. House huddles are unique to each house and consist of team building, activities, and lessons to engage the students. House huddles can also address culture and diversity by adding in activities about their country.
Fourth grade students serve as student leaders for their house. They help the teachers and staff members with the huddle activities, and serve as “house buddies”. As kindergarten students are added to a house, they are paired with a fourth grade student. The fourth grade student serves as their “house buddy” and mentors the kindergarten student during house huddles and other campus events.
