• What are house points, and how are house points earned?

All teachers and staff on campus can give house points to students. Teachers and staff are always on the lookout for students who are modeling good character and demonstrating the eight core character traits adopted by the district. House points are collected throughout the week. At the end of each week, we update the house point board for students to see how their house is progressing. At the end of each six weeks, the house with the most points will win lunch together. In addition to a six weeks winner, house points are tracked for the year. The house with the most points for the entire year will win a celebration party at the end of the school year, and will be the house champions!

Each Friday a student is selected from each house to spin the wheel for house bonus points. House teachers work with house leaders to select a student who has demonstrated good character to represent their house. The selected students are recognized for their outstanding character and spin the wheel. House bonus points are added every Friday.

Students may also receive points when they are caught following the “Delaney 32”, a set of essential rules to lead students to a better tomorrow. The Delaney 32 helps students learn rules they need to be successful leaders in the future.
