Why do we have a house system?

Many schools in the United States have adopted the English-style house system to further the closeness of their small communities, as well as to add some fun to the academic atmosphere. Our house system aims to help students find a sense of belonging no matter where they are on campus. It allows our students to build a community where they have ownership and leadership. Our houses also address growth mindset and modeling good character, with an additional focus on culture and diversity.
