In an effort to provide a safe and secure environment for all students, staff, and campus visitors, Kennedale ISD has implemented policies that focus on campus safety. KISD has also implemented multiple safety tools such as building camera systems, access control, fire and burglar alarm systems, and a mass communication system.

KISD has several programs, tools, and resources to ensure the district's safety:

• Raptor Visitor Check-In Software.
• Intelligence Gathering.
• District and Campus Emergency Operations Plans.
• School Resource Officers (SRO).
• Safety Drills.
• ID Badges for employees, as well as contracted service providers and visitors while on district property.
