The Arts, A/V Technology & Communications Career Clusters focuses on careers in designing, producing, exhibiting, performing, writing, and publishing multimedia content including visual and performing arts and design, journalism, and entertainment services. Careers in the AAVTC Career Cluster require a creative aptitude, a strong background in computer and technology applications, a strong academic foundation, and a proficiency in oral and written communication. Students in the AAVTC cluster have the opportunity to earn industry certifications including Adobe, Apple, and Microsoft.
Students at Kennedale High School have the opportunity to take courses in the A/V cluster by following a career cluster pathway below. Students who complete a coherent sequence of at least three courses for four or more credits will earn the business and industry endorsement. The number of credits for each course below is indicated in parenthesis.
