ABOUT MR. CAGLE
Mr. Cagle earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Baylor University in 2000 and a Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership with Principal Certification from the University of North Texas in 2011. Before coming to Kennedale ISD, Mr. Cagle was a high school science teacher and Assistant Principal. He was named the 2011-2012 Springtown ISD Educator of the Year.
Mr. Cagle served as a Region 11 Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) Board Member from 2014-2019 and received the Region XI Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year Award in 2015.
This is Mr. Cagle’s 8th year in Kennedale ISD and 4th year as Principal of KHS. Previously, Mr. Cagle was an admistrator at Kennedale Junior High School, serving as Assistant Principal (1 year) and Principal (3 years).
On the past two campus report cards, KHS has received 10 TEA Academic Distinctions. As an administrator, Mr. Cagle’s KISD campuses have earned a total of 30 Academic Distinctions. KHS has won UIL District Academic Team Championships 5 of the last 6 years. In 2019, KHS was the UIL Academic Team Runner Up at the UIL Class 4A Region 2 Academic Meet.
