The Kennedale ISD Board of Trustees has called for May 3, 2025 bond election to make improvements to the facilities at the Kennedale Junior High as well as Kennedale High School. The bond will also cover purchasing new vehicles for student transportation.
There will be NO change or increase to the tax rate if the bond passes.
Total Amount: $6,015,000
The Kennedale Junior High Stadium facilities are used not only by our students but are open to the public. This proposal will cover improvements and upgrades to the stadium, including the turf, track, and public seating.
Total Amount: $3,440,000
While improvements to the Performing Arts Center began with the 2023 Bond, additional upgrades are necessary, including new seating, curtains, stage floor, and lighting. This will include a meeting room that will be available for reservation for community groups.
Total Amount: $1,535,000
This proposition covers renovations to the KHS Auditorium, which will be made available for community use by groups such as the Kennedale Community Theatre. The other part of this proposition covers purchase or retrofitting district vehicles for student transportation.
